Disclaimer (Channels DVR)

ChannelWatch is an independent community tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Fancy Bits LLC or Channels DVR. “Channels DVR” is a product of Fancy Bits LLC. Channel logos displayed in notifications belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only (nominative fair use).

ChannelWatch monitors your Channels DVR server and sends you alerts about what’s happening on it. To do that usefully, it displays channel names and logos in notifications so you can tell at a glance which channel triggered an alert.

Those logos belong to the broadcasters, not to ChannelWatch or to Fancy Bits LLC. Showing them in a notification so you can identify the channel is a classic example of nominative fair use: using a trademark to refer to the thing the trademark identifies, not to imply any affiliation or endorsement.

ChannelWatch is not a Fancy Bits LLC product. It is not endorsed by Fancy Bits LLC. It is a community-built monitoring tool that works alongside Channels DVR. The two products are independent.

ChannelWatch is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it under the terms of that license.
